The St. Louis Cardinals and Milwaukee Brewers finished up their series over the weekend. On Friday the Brewers secured a close 3-2 victory over the Cardinals. On Saturday the Cardinals snapped a six game losing streak after Willson Contreras and Nolan Gorman each hit a home run helping the Cardinals defeat the Brewers, 8-5. Yesterday the Brewers managed to hold off the Red Birds, 3-2, and secured the overall series 3-1. The Cardinals have the day off today.

The Kansas City Royals faced the Athletics over the weekend. It was a tough matchup for the Royals as they were swept over the three game series, 6-4 on Friday, shutout 4-0 on Saturday, and then lost in a close one yesterday afternoon 3-2. The Royals have the day off today.
