Over the weekend the St. Louis Cardinals and Minnesota Twins wrapped up their three game series. In Minneapolis the teams combined for an average of five home runs per game! In game two on Saturday Iván Herrera, Jordan Walker, and Blaze Jordan each hit a home run in the top of the seventh, all of which with two outs on the board, giving the Cardinals a lead they wouldn’t relinquish for a 9-6 win. Unfortunately the Twins would claim the series 2-1 with a close 9-8 and 5-4 win over the Red Birds. The Cardinals are returning home tonight to play the San Diego Padres in Busch Stadium. In cooperation with the Bunker High School, St. Louis Cardinals organization, and KSMO Media in attendance today will be over 100 fans cheering on the 2025-26 Bunker High School Class 1 Boys Basketball Champions as they have been invited to throw out the first pitch! You can listen to tonight’s game live on KSMO Radio 1340 AM & 95.7 FM with the pregame coverage at 5:50 and the first game pitch at 6:45.
