Four home runs powered the St. Louis Cardinals to a 10-6 win over Cincinnati Sunday. Harrison Bader had a three-run blast, Tyler O’Neill and Dylan Carlson had two-run shots, and Nolan Arenado had a solo homer as the Cards took the final game of the three-game series. The Red Birds will be off today before starting a two-game series in Cleveland starting Tuesday at 5:15 on KSMO.

The Kansas City Royals swept the Detroit Tigers this past weekend at Kaufmann Stadium, winning 6-1 Sunday, 9-8 Saturday and 5-3 on Friday night. The Royals have now won five straight games. They will start a four-game series against the Chicago White Sox tonight at Kaufmann stadium.

Friday night, the St. Louis Blues traded forward Sammy Blais and a second-round draft pick in the 2022 NHL draft to the New York Rangers for forward Pavel Buchnevich. Last week, the Blues also lost defenseman Vince Dunn in the NHL entry draft for the new NHL team, the Seattle Kraken. In the NHL Amateur draft, the Blues took three forwards and one defenseman.
