The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers fell to Linn Saturday at the Owensville Tournament in the Consolation Championship. Reese Dodson had 16 points to lead the Tigers who drop to 3-8 on the year. Salem will host Lesterville Tuesday at the SHS Gym starting with the JV game at 6:00 followed by the varsity game. You can hear that game on KSMO and online at ksmoradio.com.

The Salem Boys Tigers have been seeded 7th in the upcoming St. James Tournament next week. They will face the Rolla Bulldogs for the third time this year Tuesday, January 15th at 7:30.

The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers will be at Thayer tonight starting at 6:00 with the JV game with the varsity game to follow. Salem enters play with a 1-0 SCA Conference record and 9-5 on the year.

Jordan Eberle and Johnny Boychuk scored 11 seconds apart in the third period to help the New York Islanders rally for a 4-3 win over the St. Louis Blues on Saturday night. The Blues led 2-0 after the 1st period and only lost their second game after leading after the second period. Brayden Schenn, Zach Sanford and Ryan O’Reilly scored for St. Louis, which has lost three of its last four. The Blues will be in Philadelphia tonight at 5:30 and you can hear the game on KSMO Radio.

The Missouri Basketball Tigers will resume play after more than week off as they will face Tennessee on Tuesday night at 5:30. That game will NOT be heard on KSMO Radio due to Salem Tiger basketball and Blues hockey. Missouri is 9-3 on the year and have won six straight.
