G.T. Nicholson scored 30 points to lead the Licking Wildcats to a 70-43 win over Salem Friday night in the “Cat Classic” at Licking. Reese Dodson scored 19 to lead Salem who falls to 5-12 on the year. They will be at Thayer in their first SCA game of the year Tuesday night at Thayer.

The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers will host Mountain Grove tonight in SCA play starting at 6:00 with the JV game with the varsity match to follow. Salem is 10-9 on the year and 1-2 in the SCA Conference. You can hear tonight’s varsity game at 7:15 on KSMO Radio and online at ksmoradio.com.

Skylar Mays scored 11 points of his 24 points in the last three minutes of regulation and No. 25 LSU overcame a 14-point deficit in the final 2:08 to force overtime, then went on to an 86-80 victory over Missouri on Saturday night. Jordan Geist had 25 points and 11 rebounds for Missouri. Jeremiah Tilmon added 15 points, and Javon Pickett had 13. Missouri plays Auburn Wednesday night at 7:00. They have a 10-8 record, and are 1-5 in the SEC Conference. That game can be heard on KSMO Radio.
