The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers will be at Owensville tomorrow night to face the Dutchgirls in non-conference action starting with the JV game at 6:00 with the varsity game to follow. Salem is 10-5 record and they are 2-1 in the SCA Conference.

The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers game with Cabool Friday night was postponed due to inclement weather. No makeup date has yet been set. The Tigers will participate in the St. James Tournament Tuesday night. Since the Rolla Bulldogs have pulled out of the tournament due to COVID-19, Salem, who was seeded 8th, is now seeded 7th and will face Fatima Tuesday night at 5:00. The winner will play Thursday at 5:00 while the loser will play Wednesday at 5:00. The Kansas City Chiefs overcame an injury to Patrick Mahomes in the 2nd half and held on for a 22-17 win over the Cleveland Browns Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium. Mahomes was injured in a running play and suffered a concussion. Chiefs backup Chad Henne the came on to secure the win. Mahomes and Travis Kelce each scored touchdowns for the Chiefs while Harrison Butker kicked three field goals. The Chiefs will host Buffalo next Sunday evening in the AFC Championship game.

The Colorado Avalanche blasted the St. Louis Blues Friday night by the final score of 8-0. Gabriel Landeskog had two goals to lead the attack for Colorado. The Blues are 1-1 on the season and they will host the San Jose Sharks tonight starting at 7:00. The pre-game show begins at 6:30 on KSMO Radio.

The Missouri Basketball Tigers beat Texas A&M Saturday in SEC Conference play, 68-52 as Dru Smith led the way with 15 points followed by Jeremiah Tilmon with 14 more. Missouri improves to 8-2 on the season and 2-2 in the SEC Conference. They will play South Carolina Tuesday at 6:00. That game will be heard on KSMO immediately after Salem Tiger basketball joined in progress.

The St. Louis Cardinals announced that they have reached agreements on one-year contracts for the upcoming 2021 season with outfielder Harrison Bader and pitchers Jordan Hicks and Alex Reyes, avoiding salary arbitration. Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed. They also announced that an agreement with pitcher Jack Flaherty could not be reached and he will go to salary arbitration with the Cardinals at a date to be determined.
