The Missouri Basketball Tigers lost to Texas A&M Saturday by the score of 67-64. The Aggies came back from a ten-point half time deficit and outscored Missouri in the 2nd half, 43-30 to win. Missouri was led by Jarron Coleman with 14 points, and Javon Pickett and DaJuan Grodan who each scored 11. Missouri is 7-9 on the year and 1-3 in the SEC Conference. Missouri will play Ole Miss in Tuesday night.

Ilya Mikheyev’s bad angle goal with 3:15 left gave the Toronto Maple Leafs a come-from-behind win over St. Louis Saturday night, 6-5. Ryan O’Reilly had two goals for the Blues while Robert Thomas, Brenden Saad and Niko Mikkola also scored for St. Louis who will host the Nashville Predators tonight. Due to the Waynesville Tigers pulling out of the St. James Boys Basketball Tournament due to COVID, Salem will now face Fatima in the first round of the St. James Tournament Tuesday night at 7:30. If Salem wins, they will play Friday at 6:30 and if they lose, they will play either St. James or Licking Thursday evening, at 6:00. You can hear the game Tuesday on KSMO Radio.

The Salem Tigers Boys Freshman will face Owensville at 5:00 tomorrow before the Lady Tigers games with Owensville in a rescheduled game from last Tuesday against the Dutchmen.

The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers will play Owensville Tuesday night at the SHS Gym starting at 6:00. The boy’s freshman game and the JV match will be video streamed on KSMO Media on ksmoradio.com, KSMO Stream Facebook page and on YouTube. The varsity match will be video streamed plus included play-by-play on the stream. Salem is 8-7 going into the game.

The Salem Girls Basketball Varsity Game that was postponed with South Iron due to inclement weather will now be made up on Wednesday, February 9th at 6:00.

Patrick Mahomes was 30-39 for 404 yards and five touchdown passes as the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday night, 42-21. They will play Buffalo Sunday afternoon.
