Kadin Norris scored 18 of his 24 points in the 2nd quarter as the Steelville Cardinals outscored Salem in that quarter, 29-13 en route to a 76-53 win over the Tigers Friday night in the Maries County Bank Tournament in Owensville. The 3rd place game on Saturday was postponed due to adverse weather and will be made up at a date to be determined later. Salem is 5-5 on the year and they will be at Lesterville Tuesday night.

The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers will host the defending Class 2 State Champion Thayer Lady Bobcats tonight in an SCA contest starting at 6:00. You can hear the varsity game on KSMO Radio and online at ksmoradio.com starting at about 7:10 on KSMO Radio.

Zach Sanford had a goal and an assist, and Jordan Binnington made 21 saves for the St. Louis Blues Saturday night as they blew past the New York Rangers, 5-2 for their eighth straight home win. David Perron scored his fourth straight game while Robert Bortuzzo, Jaden Schwartz and Vince Dunn added goals for the Blues who will host Anaheim tonight. That game can be heard on a delayed basis after Lady Tiger Basketball at about 8:45 on KSMO Radio.

Thanks to fans voting in the NHL’s Last Men In campaign, Blues forward David Perron is headed to the 2020 Honda NHL All-Star Game in St. Louis later this month.

Dru Smith scored 22 points to lead Missouri past Florida Saturday evening in Columbia, 91-75. Missouri is 9-6 overall and 1-2 in the SEC Conference. They will be at Mississippi State Tuesday night at 7:30 on KSMO Radio.

The Kansas City Chiefs fell behind 24-0 after the 1st Quarter, then roared back and scored touchdowns on their next seven possessions to beat the Houston Texans Sunday, 51-31. Patrick Mahomes threw five touchdown passes in the game and Travis Kelce caught three touchdown passes all in the 2nd quarter in the Chiefs win. They will host the Tennessee Titans Sunday.
