The Salem Lady Tigers Basketball team beat the Cuba Lady Wildcats at Sullivan in Class 4, District 3 play Saturday afternoon, 61 to 57. Salem was led by Savannah Manthey with 20 points while Bella Jadwin and Ashton Bowers each netted 15 more. Salem is now 14-12 on the year and they advance to play Owensville Tuesday night at 5:15 in Sullivan.

The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers will take on St. Clair in district play tonight at 7:00 in Sullivan. Admission to the game is $5.00 per person for those six years of age and older. The game will be video streamed on MSHSAA.TV and there is a cost of $10 per game, per stream for each device. The game can also be heard on KSMO Radio starting with Tiger Talk about 15 minutes prior to each broadcast.

The Bunker Boys Basketball Eagles fell short in their quest to unseat the current Class 1 State Champions in the South Iron Panthers in the Class 1, District 3 Championship game at Bunker, but fell short, 68-61. Cade Sutton scored 26 points to lead the Eagles while Blake Mathis added 20 more. Bunker finished the year with a 21-6 record. Good job Eagles!

David Perron scored two goals and Jordan Binnington earned his second shutout of the year as St. Louis beat Chicago, 4-0 Sunday afternoon. Jordan Kyrou and Pavel Buchnevich added goals for the Blues Sunday. On Friday night, the St. Louis Blues beat the Buffalo Sabres, 5 to 3. Jordan Kyrou netted two goals in that game. Brayden Schenn, Colton Parayko and Jake Walman also scored for the Blues Friday night. The Blues play the New York Rangers Wednesday night.

The Missouri Tigers lost to LSU Saturday night 75 to 55. Javon Pickett led Missouri with 14 points in the game. Missouri has lost five games in a row and will travel to South Carolina to face the Gamecocks Tuesday night.

The Licking Lady Wildcats beat Mansfield Friday night at Houston in the Class 3, District 10 championship game. They improve to 23-4 on the year and they will play Steelville Tuesday night at 6:00 at the Gibson Arena on the campus of Missouri S&T. The cost is $7.00 per person.
