The Basketball Class 4, District 9 seed meeting was Saturday at Union. All District games will be held at the Union High School starting this Saturday and there will be a $5.00 admission charge for anyone six years of age and older. The Salem Boys Basketball Team was seeded 2nd and drew a bye for the games on Saturday and will face the winner of the St. Clair/Union game on Tuesday night at 7:00. The Salem Lady Tigers were seeded 5th and they will play St. Clair Saturday at Union at 1:00. Should the Lady Tigers win Saturday, they would play the Rolla Lady Bulldogs on Monday at 5:30. The Salem Lady Tigers lost to Lebanon Friday night by the score of 68-64 in their final home game of the year. Lebanon outscored Salem in the 2nd quarter by a 21-7 margin to lead by 17 at the half. Maddison Woolf scored 21 points for Salem and Savannah Manthey added 17 more as Salem will be at St. Clair to face the Lady Bulldogs tonight starting at 5:30.

Oskar Sundqvist scored a goal and assisted on a shorthanded goal by Ivan Barbashev Sunday as the Blues won their fourth straight game, 4-1 over Minnesota. Jordan Binnington stopped 32 shots to get the win. On Friday, five different Blues scored goals as St. Louis dominated Dallas on the road and won by the score of 5-1. The Blues host Chicago Tuesday night.

The Missouri Basketball Tigers lost to Arkansas Saturday, 78-68. Missouri is 13-14 on the year and 5-9 in the SEC Conference.

The St. Louis Cardinals beat the New York Mets Saturday, 2-0 before playing the Mets to a 3-3 tie Sunday. They will play Miami this afternoon. That game will NOT be on KSMO Radio.
