Kale Gardner scored 22 points and Aden Estep scored 18 more as the Mountain Grove Panthers Friday night beat the Salem Basketball Tigers, 64-44. Salem was led by Braiden Gapsch with eight points. Salem falls to 16-10 on the year and 4-3 in the SCA Conference. The Tigers are still waiting for their district seeds to be determined.

The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers will bet at St. Clair tonight for their regular season finale.

The JV will begin play at 5:30 with the varsity game to follow. The Salem Varsity Lady Tigers are 9-15 on the year and have lost their last eight straight games.

The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers are seeded 6th in the Class 4, District 3 Tournament. They will face the Sullivan Eagles at Cuba on Monday, March 2nd, starting at 7:00.

The Bunker Eagles Boys Varsity beat Greenville Friday night, 68-37 to finish the regular season with a 24-2 record. They are seeded first in the Class 1, District 3 Tournament in Bunker and drew a first round bye. They will play the winner of the Koshkonong/Lesterville game Thursday at 5:30 in Bunker.

The Bunker Lady Eagles finished the regular season with a 22-3 record as they beat St. Pius X out of Festus Friday night, 44-33. Kinsey Barton led the team with 19 points followed by Hailey Turnbrogh with 12. The Lady Eagles will play tonight at 5:30 against Lesterville in the first round of the Class 1, District 1 Tournament. Admission to the game is $6.00 for anyone six years of age and older.

Mark Mitchell scored 26 points and Trent Pierce scored 22 points that accounted for over half of the Missouri Tigers offensive production Saturday night when the fell to the Arkansas Razorbacks, 94-86. Up next for the 18-9 Tigers will be a 20-7 Tennessee Volunteers team tomorrow night on KSMO Radio with coverage starting at 7:00.

Spring training is well underway for the St. Louis Cardinals! Over the weekend they split their first two games. First falling to the Nationals 6-2 Saturday afternoon, then yesterday the Cards had to hold off a late comeback attempt from the Astros to pick up a close 6-5 victory. They’ll be playing the Marlins this afternoon at 12:05.
