The Salem Lady Basketball will wrap up their regular season tonight against the St. Clair Bulldogs at the SHS gym. The JV game will be at 5:30 and the varsity game will follow. Salem is 17-9 on the year. You can hear the game on KSMO radio and online at ksmoradio.com.

The Salem Tigers were seeded Saturday in the Class 4 District 10 tournament that will start on Saturday. The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers were seeded 5th and they will face the St. Clair Bulldogs who were seated 4th at 4:00. The Salem Lady Tigers were seeded 4th and they will face the union Lady Wildcats at 1:00. The district games will be held at the Union High School. The admission price is $5.00 per person.

Bruce Stevens scored 17 points, KJ Buffen and Breein Tyree each added 14 and Mississippi beat Missouri 75-65 on Saturday. Ole Miss scored 32 points off of 25 Missouri turnovers. Jordan Geist led the Tigers with a game-high 23 points. Xavier Pinson added 11 points and nine rebounds. Missouri is now 12-12 on the season and 3-9 in the SEC Conference. They will play Kentucky Tuesday night but the game will not be heard on KSMO due to Blues Hockey.

On Saturday, Jake Allen made 32 saves while Vladimir Tarasenko and Zach Sanford scored 57 seconds apart in the third period and the St. Louis Blues beat the Colorado Avalanche 3-0 on Saturday. Jaden Schwartz scored into an empty net to secure the win. Then on Sunday, Jordan Binnington made 31 saves and the St. Louis Blues posted their third straight shutout, beating the Minnesota Wild 4-0 for their 10th straight win. Vladimir Tarasenko had a goal and two assists and Ryan O’Reilly, Vince Dunn and Brayden Schenn also scored to help St. Louis match the best winning streak in franchise history, completed in January 2002. The run also ties the Blues for the longest streak in the NHL this season. The Blues have won eight straight on the road, their best such run since taking 10 straight in 2000. the Blues will host the Toronto Maple Leafs Tuesday night starting at 6:30 on KSMO Radio.
