Sophomore Andrew Dalton of the Ava Bears scored 29 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the Ava Bears to a 59 to 45 win over Salem Friday night in SCA Conference play at the Salem High School Gym. Carter Chilton scored 18 points for Salem and Reese Dodson added 12 more for the Tigers who fall to 10-12 on the year and 2-3 in the SCA. They will be at Houston Tuesday night.

The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers will be at Houston tonight starting with a two quarter JV game followed by the varsity game. Salem is 14-8 on the year and 4-1 in the SCA.

On February 20th, the Salem Boys and Girls Tigers will be at Cabool to face the Bulldogs. There will be no JV games that night as the Varsity girls will play at 6:00 and the varsity boys game will follow. Both of those games will be on KSMO Radio and online at ksmoradio.com.

Dru Smith and Xavier Pinson each scored 28 points to lead the Missouri Tigers to an upset win over 11 ranked Auburn, 85-73. Missouri is now 12-13 on the year and 4-7 in the SEC Conference. Auburn fell to 22-3 with the lost. Missouri will host Ole Miss Tuesday night.

On Saturday, Mikael Granlund scored the tiebreaking goal on a power play early in the third period to help the Nashville Predators to a 4-3 win against the St. Louis Blues at Enterprise Center. Then on Sunday, Kyle Turris scored the tiebreaking goal with 2:12 remaining in regulation, and the Nashville Predators swept a home-and-home with the St. Louis Blues with a 2-1 win at Bridgestone Arena. The Blues have lost five straight and play New Jersey Tuesday.
