Jozey MacPhearson’s 3-pointer in overtime ignited Mountain Grove to a 46-43 Lady Panthers win over Salem Friday night at Mountain Grove. Salem was led by Bella Jadwin who reached her 1,000-career point in the game with 16 points. The Lady Tigers are now 12-11 and 2-3 in the SCA Conference and they will host Ava tonight at 6:00 starting with the JV. The games will be video streamed on KSMO Media and the varsity game heard on KSMO.

The Mountain Grove defense smothered the Salem Boys Basketball Tigers as the Panthers jumped out to a 28-8 lead in the 1st quarter and they cruised to a 77-41 win. Salem falls to 0-19 and will be at Viburnum tonight starting with the JV game. KSMO Media will NOT be broadcasting that contest due to the coverage of the Lady Tigers game with Ava.

The Salem Boys Freshman lost Friday, 57-17 at Mountain Grove to wrap up their regular season.

Five different Blues scored as the St. Louis broke their two-game losing streak Saturday night beating the Chicago Blackhawks, 5-1. Vladimir Tarasenko, Jordan Kyrou, David Perron Dakota Joshua and Oskar Sundvist tallied in the game. Brayden Schenn had two assists for the Blues who will play Tuesday at Ottawa at 5:30.

Javon Pickett and Ronnie DeGray each scored 14 points to lead Missouri past Ole Miss Saturday, 74-68. Kobe Brown, DaJaun Gordon and Amari Davis each added 13 points for Missouri who will play Tennessee Tuesday night. Missouri is 10-14 on the year.
