Gavin Sapaugh and Lincoln Thomas each scored 11 points as the Salem Tigers earned their first win over the Owensville Dutchmen Friday at the SHS Gym by the score of 47-32. The Tigers held the Dutchman to just two fourth quarter points while scoring 14 in the win. Salem will host Waynesville tomorrow night at 7:30 and you can hear the game on KSMO Radio and video stream the game on KSMO Media.

The Salem Tigers JV basketball Tigers improved to 3-0 with solid win over Owensville, 50-22. They will also play Waynesville Tuesday night starting at 6:00.

The Salem Freshman Basketball Tigers beat Owensville Friday night, 33-18 to even their record at 1-1. 

The Mizzou Basketball Tigers upset the number one ranked Kansas Jayhawks yesterday afternoon by a score of 76-67. The Tigers had a 14 point lead heading into the half and never relinquish their lead. Tamar Bates led the Tigers in scoring with 29 points. Mizzou is now 8-1 on the season and will have the week off before facing the LIU Sharks Saturday morning at 11:00. The St. Louis Blues were on the road playing the Edmonton Oilers this past Saturday. The Blues were scoreless after two periods as the Oilers took a three goal advantage. In the third, the Blues attempted a comeback with goals from Dylan Holloway and Jake Neighbours but ultimately the Blues lost the match 4-2.
