Three Salem Football Tigers were named to the Missouri Class 3 Central Region All-District Teams as selected by media outlets. Senior Garrett Connell was named to the All-District 1st team in the defensive secondary while senior Hunter Shaw was named as an offensive lineman to All-District 2nd Team. Senior Corbin Robertson was named to the All-District 2nd team as a defensive lineman. Congratulations Tigers!

The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers will play in the Norwood Tournament tonight starting at 6:00 against Rush Athletics. Salem is seeded 1st in the Tournament. If Salem wins, they would play Thursday night at 6:00. If the Lady Tigers fall, they would play Friday night at 6:00.

Brendan Decker scored 15 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead the Owensville Dutchmen past the Salem Tigers Friday night, 47-35. Salem was led by Levi Smith with 14 points and six rebounds. Salem falls to 0-4 on the year and they will play West Plains Tuesday night at the SHS Gym.

The Missouri Football Tigers will play Army West Point in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth, Texas, on Wednesday, December 22nd starting at 7:00. Missouri enters the game with a 6-6 record while Army is 8-3 with one game remaining against Navy this Saturday.

Villo Husso made 48 saves, but the St. Louis Blues could not hold the lead as Florida tied the game with 2:34 remaining on the second goal of the game by Maxim Manim, then won it in a shoot-out, 4-3. The Blues return home Tuesday to play the same Florida Panthers in a home and home series. That game will be delayed until 9:00 after Salem Tiger basketball.
