The Salem Tigers game Friday went down to the wire with the Owensville Dutchmen, but some key free throws by Charles Hazelwood and Tanner Meyer proved to be the difference as the Dutchmen beat Salem, 57-54. Bryson May finished with 27 points for the Tigers while Gunnar Konkel had 12 more. Earlier in the night, the Salem JV beat Owensville, 50-40 and the Salem Freshman won, 42-31. The varsity Tigers are 1-3 on the year and will host the Cuba Wildcats tonight starting with the JV game at 5:30 followed by the varsity matchup at around 6:45. KSMO Media will video stream both games with the varsity game broadcast on KSMO AM 1340 and FM 95.7 starting about 6:35 with Tiger Talk and Coach Jared Patterson.

The Missouri Football Tigers will play Wake Forest on Friday, December 23rd in the Gasparilla Bowl starting at 5:30 in Tampa Bay. Missouri enters the game with a 6-6 record and Wake Forest is 7-5.

The Missouri Basketball Tigers beat SEMO Sunday afternoon in Columbia by the score of 96-89 to go to 9-0 on the year. Kobe Brown had 25 points and Sean East added 21 more as Missouri will play Kansas Saturday afternoon.

The St. Louis Blues dropped a 6-2 decision to Pittsburgh Saturday for their third straight loss. Vladimir Tarasenko and Pavel Buchnevich scored for the Blues who play the New York Rangers tonight. The game start will be delayed on KSMO until 8:30 after Salem Basketball.

The Cincinnati Bengals scored ten 4th quarter points and held off Kansas City to beat the Chiefs, 27-24. The Chiefs are 9-3 on the year. Kansas City will play at Denver Sunday.
