Maddy Woolf hit a three-pointer in the final seconds to tie the game, then the Lady Tigers controlled the overtime session to claim a 66-57 victory over the Owensville Dutchgirls Thursday. Woolf finished with 17 points while Michaela Chilton added 16 points followed by Taylor Norris with 13 points. Salem is now 2 0 on the year and they will play in the Scallywag Showdown at Norwood tonight against SWMO Rush, a home school team at 6:00. Salem is the 2nd seed in that tournament.

Jordan Geist scored 18 points, including a clutch 3-pointer at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime where Missouri captured a 64-62 overtime victory over UCF on Sunday. Javon Pickett added 13 points and Jeremiah Tilmon had 10 for Missouri who improves to 4-3 on the year. The Tigers will face the University of Texas-Arlington Tuesday night.

The Missouri Football Tigers have been selected to participate in the Auto Zone Liberty Bowl on New Years Eve against Oklahoma State starting at 2:45 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Patrick Mahomes threw four touchdown passes Sunday to reach the 41 TD mark through 12 games, and the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Oakland Raiders, 40-33. Mahomes finished 23 for 38 for 295 yards and Travis Kelce had 12 catches for 168 yards, topping the 1,000-yard mark for the third straight season. The Chiefs are 10-2 on the year and they will host Baltimore on Sunday.

Clayton Keller had a goal and two assists and the Arizona Coyotes netted four second-period goals, cruising to a 6-1 win over the St. Louis Blues on Saturday night. On Friday night, Colton Parayko scored 1:34 into overtime to lift the St. Louis Blues to a 3-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche. Vladimir Tarasenko and Alexander Steen scored Friday night for the Blues who will host Edmonton Wednesday night.
