Reese Dodson scored 24 points to lead the Salem Tigers past the Cuba Wildcats Friday night, 70-43. Salem, now 4-4 on the year, will be off until January 6th when the play the School of the Osage in the Owensville Tournament.

The Salem Lady Tigers lost to St. James in the consolation championship Friday in Sullivan, 52-29. They are 5-3 on the year and they will play Mountain Grove tonight at 7:00 at Mountain Grove in their Ladies Holiday Tournament. If Salem wins, they will play Thursday night at 7:00 and should they lose, they would play Thursday at 1:30.

Alex Petrangelo scored two goals in the3rd period including the game winner as the St. Louis Blues beat the San Jose Sharks Saturday night, 5-2. The Blues will be in Los Angeles tonight to face the Kings at 8:30 on KSMO.

Dru Smith scored 19 points while Javon Pickett added 17 more as the Missouri beat Illinois Saturday in the annual “Bragging Rights” game at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, 63-56. Missouri is 7-4 on the year and will play on December 30th against Chicago State.
