The St. Louis Cardinals played the Minnesota Twins on Friday. The Twins would go up early in the second, 1-0. Then the Cardinals would proceed to shutout the Twins for the remainder of the game while scoring 6 runs. On Saturday the roles would be reversed as the Twins shutout the Cards, 6-0. Yesterday, the Red Birds would rally late in the ninth to win, 3-2 and the overall series, 2-1. Today, St. Louis plays the San Diego Padres. The Kansas City Royals played a three game series versus the Philadelphia Phillies. Game one on Friday the Royals would win 7-4. Games two and three would be blowouts, both games going the Phillies way, 11-2 and 11-3. This afternoon the Royals start a new series versus the Cleveland Guardians at 12:10 in Cleveland.
