Mike Moustakas hit a two-run double and Jhoulys Chacin beat St. Louis for the first time in his career as the Milwaukee Brewers edged the St. Louis Cardinals 2-1 on Sunday. Patrick Wisdom’s first major league home run was the only Red Bird tally. The Cardinals won Friday night by a 5-2 score, and then Saturday night by the score of 7-2 to take the series and they have won 10 of their last 12 games. They are 1/2 game behind Milwaukee for 2nd place in the Central Division. The Cards will be in Los Angeles tonight with Austin Gomber on the mound. He has won his last two starts and has an 11-inning scoreless streak. The game will be starting at 8:15 on KSMO Radio.

Omar Narvaez homered and drove in the go-ahead run with a single, Chicago relievers tossed seven scoreless innings and the White Sox rallied from a six-run deficit for a 7-6 victory over the Kansas City Royals on Sunday. Ryan O’Hearn, Whit Merrifield and Alex Gordon homered for Kansas City who took a 6-0 lead in the game in the second inning, but score no more. The Royals will start a four game series in Tampa Bay tonight. Jorge Lopez will make his second major league start for Kansas City.
