Albert Pujols hit two home runs: one in the first inning, then a three-run homer which proved to be the game-winning blow in the 8th inning as the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Milwaukee Brewers Sunday, 6-3 and took two of the three games in the series. Dylan Carlson also homered for Cardinals and Miles Mikolas threw eight innings of four-hit ball. The Cardinals have the day off today and play Colorado Tuesday.

Brady Singer threw six innings of one-hit ball and Vinnie Pasquantino rocketed his 7th homer of the season as the Kansas City Royals salvage a game of the three-game homestand with the LA Dodgers, beating them Sunday, 4-0. The Dodgers were held to just two hits in the game. Kansas City will be at Minnesota tonight to start a three-game series with the Twins.

The Kansas City Chiefs built a 14-0 first half lead on two touchdown passes by Patrick Mahomes, but the Chicago Bears scored 16 points in the 3rd quarter, with two of the scores coming after Chief turnovers, and went on to beat Kansas City, 19-14. The Chiefs will play Washington Saturday afternoon.
