The Salem Lady Softball Tigers game with Steelville Friday was postponed due to the weather and no makeup date has been set. The Lady Tigers host Cabool in an SCA Conference contest starting today at 4:30 at the Salem City Park. Salem has an 0-2 record.

The Salem Baseball Tigers will host Houston today to start SCA Conference play at the SHS Baseball Field Complex starting at 4:30. The Tigers enter the game with a 2-5 record. KSMO Media and Radio will broadcast the game starting with Tiger Talk and Coach Tony Edwards around 4:15.

The Salem Tennis Tigers on Thursday defeated Willow Springs 5-4. Senior Gunnar Konkel won his match, 9-8 after being down 1-7 to seal the win for the Tigers who will host Waynesville today at 4:30 at the Salem City Park. Salem is 3-1 on the year.

The Salem Middle School Track teams will host the Salem Open track meet today at 4:00 at the high school track.

Brendan Donovan and Alec Burleson hit back-to-back homers to start the game and Nolan Gorman slugged two 2-run homers as the St. Louis Cardinals beat Toronto Sunday, 9-4 to take two of three from the Blue Jays. The Cardinals face the Atlanta Braves tonight right after Salem Tiger Baseball on KSMO Radio.

Joey Gallo slugged two home runs and drove in four suns to lead the Minnesota Twins to a series sweep over the Kansas City Royals, winning Sunday by the score of 7-4. The Royals will host the Toronto Blue Jays Monday to start a four game series.

Jordan Kyrou scored two goals including the game tying goal with 24 second left, but St. Louis lost to the Boston Bruins in a shootout Sunday, 4-3. The Blues lost to Nashville Saturday, 6-1. They will be back in action Tuesday night against Philadelphia.

A.J. McCarron threw three touchdown passes as the St. Louis Battlehawks beat the Houston Roughnecks by the score of 24-15. St. Louis is 5-2 on the year and are one game behind the D.C Defenders who are 6-1. The Battlehawks final three games will all be at home.
