The Salem Baseball Tigers went 2-1 in the Dora Tournament losing to Dora Friday, 6-1 as the Tigers committed seven errors, then came back with a 7-5 win over Alton Friday night. On Saturday, Salem beat Gainesville, 8-6 in six innings. Salem improves to 7-8 overall. Salem will host the Cabool Bulldogs in SCA Conference play this afternoon starting at 4:30 at the SHS Baseball Complex. Salem enters the game with a 3-1 SCA record. The Salem Tigers Tennis Team will be in Lebanon this afternoon at 4:00 while the Salem Middle School Track Teams will be at Waynesville today for a meet beginning at 4:00.

The Salem Golf Team will host the SCA Conference Golf Tournament at the Spring Creek Golf Club starting at 10:00 this morning.

The St. Louis Cardinals beat the New York Mets on Sunday, 6-4 to take two of three games. The Cards will host Milwaukee tonight starting at 6:35 after Salem Baseball on KSMO Radio.

The Kansas City Royals scored six runs in the 8th inning against the New York Yankees, but lost Sunday in the 10th inning, 7-6. The Royals will travel to Tampa Bay to face the Rays tonight.

Jaden Schwarts’ hat trick propelled the St. Louis Blues past Winnipeg Saturday night, 3-2 and send the Blues into the Stanley Cup Playoffs 2nd round winning the series, 4 games to 2.
