The Salem Lady Volleyball Tigers swept Thayer Thursday in three straight games: 25-14, 25-14 and 25-16. The Lady Tigers host Bunker Monday evening at 5:30 in a varsity only match. That match will be video streamed on KSMO Media only. Salem is 13-4 on the year and 4-0 in the SCA Conference.
The Salem Lady JV Volleyball Tigers will be in the Potosi Tournament this Saturday.
The Salem Football Tigers will travel to Willow Springs in search of the first win of the year as they face the Bears in SCA Conference play. Salem is 0-5 and 0-3 in the SCA Conference entering the game while the Bears are 2-3 on the year and 1-2 in the SCA Conference. The game will be on KSMO Media starting with Tiger Talk and Coach Bryson Barnes at 6:45.
The St. Louis Cardinals will face the Pittsburgh Pirates tonight. The game will be delayed on KSMO Radio until after the Salem Tiger Football game. The game Saturday will be at 5:20 and on Sunday at 12:10 on KSMO Radio.
The Detroit Tigers swept Kansas City in the three-game set beating the Royals Thursday, 10-3. The Royals will play Cleveland this weekend.
The St. Louis Blues scored three 2nd period goals to beat Columbus Thursday, 4-2. They will host the Dallas Stars Saturday.
Mizzou will play Georgia Saturday starting at 6:30. The game will NOT be heard on KSMO due to a conflict with Cardinal Baseball.
