The Salem Football Tigers will travel to Thayer to take on the Bobcats tonight starting at 7:00. Salem enters the game with an 0-3 record while the Bobcats are 0-2. The Salem Lady Volleyball Tigers lost in three straight games to the Licking Lady Wildcats Thursday night to fall to 2-4 on the year. The Salem Lady Volleyball Tigers will be at Cabool Saturday participating in the Cabool Tournament.

Aristides Aquino home run in the 6th inning proved to be the difference as the Cincinnati Reds beat the St. Louis Cardinals Thursday, 3-2. The Red Birds continue their series with the Cincinnati Reds tonight starting at 9:20, delayed for Salem Football. St. Louis and Cincinnati play two games Saturday, the first at 11:20 and the second game at 5:20. The series finale is at 12:20 Sunday afternoon and all games can be heard on KSMO AM 1340 and 95.7 FM.

Salvador Perez homered but Kansas City fell to Minnesota Thursday, 3-2 as the Twins swept the series. The Royals will be at Boston for a three-game series starting tonight.

The Missouri Tigers will host Abilene Christian this Saturday morning at 11:00 at Faurot Field in Columbia. Missouri enters the game with a 1-1 record. The game will NOT be heard on KSMO due to the St. Louis Cardinals doubleheader.

Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Jaylen Watson intercepted a pass from LA Chargers QB Justin Herbert and returns it for a 99-yard touchdown to break a 17-17 tie leading Kansas City to a 27-24 win Thursday night. The Chiefs are 2-0.
