The Salem Football Tigers will host the Houston Tigers tonight in their first SCA game of the year starting at 7:00 at the SHS Field. Salem is 1-1 going into the game while Houston is 2-0 going into the contest. For those not attending the game, KSMO will stream the game video live on ksmoradio.com via twitch.tv. The Salem Lady Softball Tigers lost to Vienna Thursday, 16-8 after scoring seven runs in the top of the 1st inning. The JV also lost Thursday, 3-2. The Lady Tigers will host Waynesville Monday at 4:30.

St. Louis scored seven runs in the 3rd inning and banged out five homers in Game 1 as they beat Detroit, 12-2. Tyler O’Neil, Yadier Molina, Paul Goldschmidt, Lane Thomas and Rangel Rivero all homered for the Cardinals as Jack Flaherty got the win. In Game 2, Detroit scored five runs in the top of the 7th inning to beat the Cardinals, 6-3. Tommy Edmon homered for St. Louis in Game 2. The Cardinals start a three game series with the Cincinnati Reds tonight. That game will be delayed until after Tiger Football on KSMO

Adalberto Modesi and Maikel Franco each hit 3-run homers and Brady Singer no-hit Cleveland for 7 innings as the Kansas City Royals beat the Indians, 11-1. The Royals start a three game series with Pittsburgh tonight in Kansas City.

Patrick Mahommes threw three touchdown passes as the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Houston Texans Thursday night, 34-20. The Chiefs will face the San Diego Chargers on Sunday, September 20th at 3:25.
