The Salem Football Tigers will be at Priory in St. Louis this Saturday afternoon at 1:00 in the 1st round of district play. Salem finished the regular season with 2-6 record while the Priory Ravens are 6-3 record and are seeded 3rd. The Salem Tigers are seeded 6th. There is NO CHARGE to attend the game at Priory. If you can’t make it, KSMO Media will be there to bring you the game on KSMO Radio and ksmoradio.com with the radio broadcast ONLY. KSMO Media WILL be video streaming the game LIVE but it will only be available on MSHSAA.tv. Those who would like to watch the game will have to pay $10 to view the game LIVE or delayed. J. T Compher scored twice and led the Colorado Avalanche past the St. Louis Blues Thursday, 4-3 giving the Blues their first loss of the year. Vladimir Tarasenko, Brayden Schenn and Colton Parayko all scored for St. Louis. The Blues will face the Chicago Blackhawks Saturday night and you can hear the game at 6:30 on KSMO Radio.

The Kansas City Chiefs will play the New York Giants Monday night at Kansas City at 7:15 on ESPN. The Chiefs are 3-4 on the year.

Six St. Louis Cardinals have been named at finalists for the Gold Glove Award. Those players are catcher Yadier Molina, 1st baseman Paul Goldschmidt, 2nd baseman Tommy Edman, 3rd baseman Nolan Arenado, left fielder Tyler O’Neill and center fielder Harrison Bader. Molina, O’Neill, Goldschmidt and Arenado have all won gold gloves in the past.

The Kansas City Royals have four players named for Gold Glove consideration. They are catcher Salvador Perez, 2nd baseman Witt Merrifield, left fielder Andrew Benintendi and center fielder Michael A Taylor. Perez has won numerous Gold Gloves in the past.
