The Salem Football Tigers are seeded 6th in district play and will play the 3rd seeded St. James Tigers tonight in St. James at 7:00. Salem lost to St. James on opening night, 44-0 and comes into the game with a 1-8 record. St. James has a 3-6 record. A Texas County Judge Thursday ruled MSHSAA went too far in forfeiting Houston’s District win over Licking Monday over a rule violation and granted a restraining order, reinstating their district championship and allowing the Lady Tigers to play Stover Thursday night, but Houston lost in four sets, 3-1. Houston was eliminated from the state tournament.

The Kansas City Chiefs will be at Denver Sunday at 3:25. The Chiefs are 6-1 on the year.
