The Missouri Football Tigers will play the Georgia Bulldogs this Saturday morning at 11:00 and you can hear the game on KSMO. Missouri enters the game with a 4-4 record and 1-3 in the SEC Conference. Georgia is 8-0 on the season.
As long expected, but nostalgically emotive nonetheless, the St. Louis Cardinals declined the team options on veterans Matt Carpenter and Carlos MartÃnez, buying out each contract and officially adding each veteran to the free-agent fray on Thursday morning.
Brandon Saad scored two goals and goaltender Joel Hofer in his NHL Debut got the win and an assist as the St. Louis Blues beat San Jose Thursday, 5-3. Robert Thomas, James Neal and Pavel Buchnevich also scored for the Blues who will continue their road trip Sunday night in Anaheim starting at 6:30 on KSMO Radio.
