Lincoln sophomore and former Salem Lady Tiger Camryn Pryor was named to the All-MIAA second team for her outstanding year. Pryor shattered Lincoln's single-season hitting record with 60 hits while hitting .392 for the year and .407 against NCAA Division II opponents. Pryor finished the season with 20 RBI and 19 runs scored. She posted the MIAA's seventh-best batting average while tying for ninth in the league in total hits, had eight doubles, three home runs and a triple, and compiled an on-base percentage of .409. Pryor was honored for her play at first base as she made 188 putouts and ended the year with a .985 fielding percentage. Congratulations Camryn!

The entire Salem Baseball Tournament for this weekend has been cancelled due to the continuous and excessive rain.

Steven Strasburg went 6 2/3rds inning and gave up only one run to help the Washington Nationals edge the St. Louis Cardinals Thursday, 2-1. The Cardinals start a three game series on the north side of Chicago against the Cubs this afternoon starting at 12:25 on KSMO Radio. The game on Saturday will be at 2:10 and the game Sunday night will be starting at 5:10.

Brandon Lowe crushed a two-run homer with two outs in the top of the 9th inning off Wily Peralta to lead the Tampa Bay Rays to a 3-1 win over Kansas City, earning a split of the four game series. Whit Merrifield had two triples for the Royals and the only RBI. The Royals start a three game series tonight at Detroit.

St. Louis Blues and Dallas Stars will tangle in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Western Conference semi-final that will start at 8:00 tonight on KSMO Radio from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis with Game 6 scheduled for Sunday afternoon at 1:30 on KSMO Radio from Dallas in the American Airlines Center. The series is tied at 2 games each.
