The SCA Conference Teams were named Thursday evening and five Salem Tigers and four Lady Tigers were named to the teams. For the boys, Garrett Connell was named as an All-SCA Conference 1st team infielder, Korben Barred was honored as an All-SCA Conference 2nd team outfielder, Kaiden DuBois was named as an all-SCA Conference 2nd team infielder, Bronson Crocker made the All-SCA Honorable Mention team as a pitcher and Trethan Rictor was named to the All-SCA Honorable mention team as an infielder. For the Lady Tigers, Kayla Howard was named to All-SCA Conference 1st Team as a designated hitter, Ashton Bowers was honored with an All-SCA Conference 2nd team selection as an infielder, Bella Jadwin was named to the All-SCA Conference 2nd Team as an outfielder and Andrea Bray made the All-SCA Conference Honorable Mention Team as an infielder. Congratulations Tigers on your achievement!!

Paul Goldschmidt went 2-4 with a homer, but the St. Louis Cardinals fell to Milwaukee Thursday night at Busch Stadium, 4-3. The Cards face the Brewers tonight at 6:20 on and this weekend on Saturday and Sunday afternoon at 12:20 on KSMO Radio.

Kansas City scored three eighth inning runs to come back and beat Minnesota Thursday, 3-2, to end their six-game losing streak. The Royals play the Twins tonight, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon at Target Field in Minneapolis.
