The Missouri Basketball Tigers jumped out to an 8-0 lead only to watch the Georgia Bulldogs go on a 16-4 run in the first half, and then Kassius Robertson missed a three point shot as time expired as the Tigers fall to Georgia, 62-60 to ruin the return of Michael Porter, Jr. Jontay Porter led Missouri with 20 points and eight rebounds. Missouri ends the season with a 20-12 record and will wait for an NCAA bid.

Jose Martinez tied the game in the 7th inning with a two-run homer and Adolis Garcia’s sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 8th inning was the difference as the Cardinals beat Miami, 5-4. Carlos Martinez went four innings and gave up a run on five hits in his longest outing of the spring. The Cards are now 6-6 on the spring and they will face Houston late this afternoon. You can hear the Cardinals this weekend on KSMO when the play Miami Saturday and Washington on Sunday with both games beginning at 11:45.

The Kansas City Royals shutout the Chicago White Sox split squad on Thursday by the score of 12-0. Kansas City scored one run in the first inning, two in the 2nd, four in the 3rd inning, two in the 4th and three more runs in the 5th inning. The Royals will play Arizona today.

Mikkel Boedker scored San Jose’s first power-play goal in a month, helping lift the Sharks past the St. Louis Blues 2-0 on Thursday night. The St. Louis Blues will face the LA Kings Saturday afternoon around 3:00. KSMO will join the game after the Cards baseball game.
