Taylor Norris of the Salem Lady Basketball Tigers was named to the Class 4, District 10 All-District team. Congratulations Taylor!

Vladimir Tarasenko had a goal and an assist, Jake Allen stopped 28 shots for his 19th career shutout and the St. Louis Blues beat the Los Angeles Kings 4-0 on Thursday night. Tyler Bozak, Ryan O’Reilly and Ivan Barbashev also scored for Blues, who won back-to-back games against Anaheim and Los Angeles to open their three-game California road trip. Brayden Schenn had two assists. Allen’s shutout was his third this season. On Wednesday night, Robert Thomas and Alex Pietrangelo scored 12 seconds apart late in the third period as the St. Louis Blues rallied for a 5-4 victory over the Anaheim Ducks. Pietrangelo, Brayden Schenn and Ryan O’Reilly each had a goal and an assist for St. Louis. Vladimir Tarasenko and Colton Parayko each had two assists for the Blues will be in San Jose Saturday afternoon at 3:00. KSMO will join that game in progress after Cardinal Baseball.

The Cardinals were off Thursday and they will have split squad games against Houston and Washington today. The Cardinals will play Houston tomorrow and the New York Mets on Sunday with both games beginning at 11:45. Both games can be heard on KSMO Radio.

Kansas City scored five runs in the bottom of the 9th to beat the LA Angels Thursday, 9-8. The Kansas City Royals will play Arizona Saturday afternoon and San Diego Sunday afternoon in the desert.

The Missouri Tigers finish their regular season this Saturday against Mississippi at 2:30. The game will not be aired due to Cards Baseball and Blues Hockey. The Tigers are 14-15 on the year and 5-12 in the Southeastern Conference.
