Karlee Curtis pop fly single in the 5th inning drove in Aliyah Walker with the eventual winning run as the Houston Tigers came back from 3-0 deficit to beat Salem Thursday at the Salem City Park, 4-3. Reagan Dubois doubled in a run for Salem as they fall to 0-2 on the year. With the forecasted weather Steelville is postponing todays softball game. A makeup is yet to be determined.

The Potosi Trojans beat the Salem Baseball Tigers Thursday, 10-2. The Tigers fall to 2-5 on the year and they will host Houston Monday at the SHS Field at 4:30 in their first SCA game of the year. KSMO Media and Radio will broadcast the game starting with Tiger Talk and Coach Tony Edwards around 4:15.

The Salem Tennis Tigers on Wednesday beat Potosi, six matches to three and go to 2-1 on the year. They will host Waynesville Monday at the Salem City Park.

Ryan Helsley gave up two runs in the top of the 9th inning as the Toronto Blue Jays outlasted the St. Louis Cardinals Thursday, 10-9. Tyler O’Neill and Brendan Donovan homered for St. Louis who banged out 15 hits in the game, but the Blue Jays had 19 hits. The teams take the day off today before before playing Saturday and Sunday at 12:20 each day on KSMO Radio.

Minnesota pitching gave up just two hits as the Twins were able to score two runs off Zack Grienke and beat the Kansas City Royals Thursday, 2-0. The two teams are off today and will play Saturday and Sunday at Kansas City.

The Blues won their fourth game out of their last five as they beat the Chicago Blackhawks Thursday, 5-3. Five different Blues scored in the game for St. Louis who will be at Nashville to face the Predators Saturday afternoon. Due to the St. Louis Cardinals afternoon game, KSMO will delay the broadcast until 6:00 Saturday night. KSMO will also delay the broadcast of the game against Boston Sunday until 5:30.

The St. Louis Battlehawks are 4-2 on the year and will play at Houston Sunday afternoon in their final road game of the regular season.
