The St. Louis Cardinals played the Houston Astros yesterday afternoon and tied 1-1. The Kansas City Royals played the San Diego Padres yesterday and for the second game in a row had some ninth inning heroics, scoring 4 runs late to claim a 6-5 victory. They’ll play the Los Angeles Angels at 3:10 this afternoon, the Cleveland Guardians tomorrow at 3:05, and Cincinnati Reds on Sunday at 3:05 as well.
The Missouri Tigers faced the Mississippi Bulldogs last night and after a lengthy delay to start the game the Tigers secured a victory 85-73, despite the in game loss of Mark Mitchell and Josh Gray, due to a knee injury and illness. The St. Louis Blues faced off against the Pittsburgh Penguins last night. The Blues put 36 shots on goal compared to the Penguins 22 but it was the quality of the shooting not the quantity that won the game for Pittsburgh, 5-3.
