Mathew Liberatore gave up three home runs in just over three innings as the Chicago Cubs beat the St. Louis Cardinals Thursday night at Wrigley Field, 7-5. Harrison Bader had a two-run homer in the 9th inning to make it close, but the Cubs had scored two runs in the 8th inning which made the difference. The game today at 12:25 can be heard on KSMO. The Cards and Cubs play two games Saturday, one at 11:25 and the other at 5:20, and Sunday at 5:10.

The Kansas City Royals had the day off and they will begin a three-game series in Houston against the Astros tonight.
