The St. Louis Cardinals were off Thursday and will face the Atlanta Braves this weekend starting at 6:20 tonight, 5:20 Saturday night at 12:20 Sunday afternoon. All the games can be heard on KSMO Radio.

The Kansas City Royals were off Thursday and will start a three game series at Seattle tonight and Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon.

The St. Louis Blues extended qualifying offers to nine restricted free agents this week. Those receiving offers include forwards Robby Fabbri, Dmitrij Jaskin, Oskar Sundqvist, Beau Bennett and MacKenzie MacEachern, defensemen Joel Edmundson, Jordan Schmaltz and Petteri Lindbohm, along with goalie Jordan Binnington. Nikita Soshnikov, who also was a restricted free agent, signed a one-year, one-way contract with the Blues on Sunday.

Blues’ Assistant General Manager Martin Brodeur will be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in November as part of the 2018 class. Broduer played in seven games with the Blues before retiring in 2015 to take a front office position. The Montreal, Quebec native retired from a 21-year playing career as the NHL’s all-time regular season leader in wins (691), shutouts (125), games played (1,266) and minutes played (74,439).
