The St. Louis Cardinals and Milwaukee Brewers played their first of four games yesterday and it was all Brewers all night as they held the Cardinals to only three hits on a scoreless night while racking up twelve hits of their own scoring six runs. The Cardinals will look to bounce back tonight on KSMO Radio 1340 AM & 95.7 FM with pregame coverage starting at 6:15 and first pitch at 7:10. The series wraps up this weekend with Saturday’s game at 3:10 in the afternoon and Sunday afternoon’s game at 1:10. Each weekend game will be live on KSMO Radio with pregame coverage starting about an hour before first pitch.
The Kansas City Royals finished up their series with the New York Yankees yesterday. The game was scoreless until the top of the eighth when former St. Louis Cardinal, Paul Goldschmidt hit a single driving in a run to put the Yankees on top, 1-0, which would go on to be the final score of the contest. The Athletics will travel to Kansas City today to begin a three game series with the Royals through the weekend. The first game will be tonight, with first pitch at 7:10, then on Saturday the second game will begin at 3:10 in the afternoon. The series comes to a close with game three on Sunday afternoon at 1:10. The Royals have Monday off.
