The St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs played their final game in a four game series yesterday afternoon. The Cardinals were looking to tie up the series at two. Early on, Bryan Torres batted in Masyn Winn during the second to get the first run scored in the game. Later in the seventh JJ Wetherholt hit a solo home run beyond the right field wall. The Cubs kept pace and for the second game in a row extra innings were needed to determine a winner. In the tenth inning the Cubs scored a pair of runs while the Cardinals were unable to respond and fell, 4-2. Today the Cardinals are heading to Rogers Centre in Toronto to face the Blue Jays live on KSMO Radio, 1340 AM & 95.7 FM, with pregame coverage starting at 5:10. Live weekend coverage will continue with game two at 1:10 Saturday afternoon and game three at 11:40 Sunday morning.
