The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers traveled to Sullivan Thursday to play their third game in the last 14 days and they beat the Lady Eagles, 61-43. The Salem Lady Tigers return to SCA Conference play Monday night at Thayer against the Lady Bobcats starting at 6:00 with the JV game followed by the varsity contest. Salem is 11-9 on the season and 3-0 in the SCA Conference.

The Salem Boys Freshman Basketball Tigers beat the Pacific Indians Thursday night, 45-42 to advance to the Owensville Tournament Championship game. That game will be played tonight at Owensville beginning at 6:45. Go Tigers!

The Missouri Basketball Tigers will face Iowa State Saturday at 12:30. Missouri is 15-5 record and 4-4 in the SEC. You can hear the game on KSMO AM 1340 and 95.7 FM.

Nick Schmaltz scored a nautral hat trick as the Blues offensive was non-existent as St. Louis lost to the Arizona Coyotes Thursday, 5-0. In the second period, center Robert Thomas was injured on a lower body injury on a shot from the point and left the game. The St. Louis Blues will be at Colorado Saturday at 3:00 to face the Avalanche on a delayed broadcast on KSMO.

The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Conference Championship game at Arrowhead Stadium Sunday afternoon at 5:30. Cincinnati has won the last three games between these two teams. Kansas City enters the game with a 15-3 record while Cincinnati is 14-4. The winner goes onto the Super Bowl.
