The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers remained unbeaten in 2023 as they went to Willow Springs and beat the Lady Bears Thursday, 49-35. The Lady Tigers will be off until next Thursday when they play the Dutchgirls at Owensville. Salem is 3-0 in the SCA Conference and they are 10-8 on the year.

The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers open their SCA Conference schedule against Houston tonight at the SHS Gym. The JV game will be at 6:00 followed by the varsity game. You can hear the varsity game on KSMO AM 1340 and 95.7 FM. Both games will be video streamed on KSMO Media. Salem enters the game with a 4-10 record.

The Missouri Tigers will face the Gators of Florida Saturday afternoon at 2:00. Missouri is 13-3 record and 2-2 in the SEC Conference. You can hear the game on KSMO Radio.

The Calgary Flames scored three straight goals in the 3rd period to break open a 1-1 game and cruised to a 4-1 win over the St. Louis Blues Thursday night. The Blues will host Tampa Bay Saturday at 6:30 on KSMO Radio.

The St. Louis Cardinals Caravan is returning to Rolla this Saturday to the Rolla High School Gym this Saturday for the first time since 2020 starting at 6:00. This year’s attendees will feature current St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Lars Nootbaar, lefthanded pitcher Zack Thompson, and the 2022 St. Louis Cardinals Minor League Pitcher of the Year, Gordon Graceffo. Former St. Louis Cardinals pitchers Randy Flores and Alan Benes will also be a part of the Caravan. Tom Ackerman, the Sports Director at KMOX and Cardinals Radio Network Host will serve as emcee for the event. The first 400 kids through the door on the day of the event, ages 15 and under, will receive a free autograph ticket which guarantees one autograph from each current and former player. Due to high demand, autographs will only be available for fans 15-years old and under.
