The Basketball Class 4, District 9 begins tomorrow at the Union High School starting with the Salem Lady Basketball Tigers facing the St. Clair Lady Bulldogs at 1:00. There will be a $5.00 admission charge for anyone six years of age and older. Salem enters the game with a record of 16-10 while St. Clair is 16-7 on the year. Should the Lady Tigers win Saturday, they would play the Rolla Lady Bulldogs on Monday at 5:30 at Union. Colton Parayko scored on a wrap-around half way into overtime to give the St. Louis Blues a 3-2 win over the New York Islanders. Vince Dunn tied the game with 1:44 left in regulation, and Braden Schenn also scored for the Blues who have won six straight games. The Blues will host Dallas this Saturday night at 6:30 on KSMO.

The Missouri Tigers will host Mississippi State Saturday afternoon at 2:30. You can hear that game on KSMO Radio right after Salem Lady Tiger basketball. Missouri is 14-14 on the year and 6-9 in the SEC Conference.

Atlanta scored two runs in the 6th inning off Dakota Hudson that proved to be the difference as the Braves beat the St. Louis Cardinals Thursday, 3-1. The Cardinals will play Washington Saturday and Houston on Sunday. The game Saturday will NOT air on KSMO due to the Salem Lady Tigers District basketball game. The game Sunday will start at 11:55 on KSMO.

The Brewers scored four runs in the 2nd inning and then held on to beat Kansas City Thursday, afternoon, 4-2. The Royals will play San Francisco Saturday and Seattle on Sunday.
