Thursday night at the Salem High School, Mountain View-Liberty defeated the Salem Tigers, 81-48. Salem’s leading scorers were Braiden Carmack and Gunner Konkel with 14 points each. Salem is 3-19 on the year and 1-5 in the SCA Conference. The Lady Tigers, who are 14-9 on the year and 4-2 in the SCA Conference, and the Boys Tigers will have make up varsity games with Houston tomorrow afternoon beginning at 1:00 with the girl’s game to be followed by the boy’ s game. For the district games Monday and Tuesday at Owensville, their administration is limiting their gym to a capacity of 1,000 spectators. Each school has been provided 100 vouchers and they will admit an additional 800 spectators that do not have a voucher. Those will distributed on a first come, first serve basis. The administration is asking all those in attendance to wear a mask when moving about the building or when physical distancing can not be maintained. They also are asking spectators to sit in family groups and maintain 6′ distance between groups and they will require any students sitting/standing in the student section to wear a mask. Admission to each district game will be $5.

The St. Louis Blues will face the San Jose Sharks Saturday night starting at 9:00. You can hear the game on KSMO.

The Missouri Tiger game Saturday with Texas A&M has been postponed due to COVID-19. Their next game will be Wednesday against Florida at 5:00.

The St. Louis Cardinals begin their spring training season this afternoon against Washington starting at 11:55.
