In a last minute schedule change, the Salem Lady Basketball Tigers will be in Licking tonight to face the Lady Wildcats in a varsity only game at 7:00. You can hear that game on KSMO Radio and online at ksmoradio.com starting with Tiger Talk and Coach Jake Reardon at 6:45. Salem is 13-7 on the year and 4-1 in the SCA Conference.

The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers with Houston tonight has been postponed and no makeup date has been set. Instead, the Tigers will travel to Bunker this afternoon. The JV game will begin at 4:00 with the varsity game to follow. Salem is 2-16 on the year and is 0-3 in the SCA Conference. KSMO will not broadcast the boy’s game today as they will be in Licking to broadcast the Lady Tigers game tonight.

The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers and the Boys Basketball Tigers are both seeded 5th in the upcoming Class 4, District 9 tournament. The Tiger teams will each face Owensville in the first round of district play. Both games are scheduled to be at Owensville starting at 6:00 for the girls on Monday, March 1st and 6:00 for the boys on Tuesday, March 2nd. Those games can each be heard on KSMO Radio.

Late signups for the City of Salem 2021 Spring Soccer Season are going on now through THIS Sunday for $35 per child. The league is open to all boys and girls age 14 and under. David Perron scored on a power play in overtime after Brayden Schenn tied the game with 32 seconds left as the St. Louis Blues beat the San Jose Sharks, 3-2. Mike Hoffman also scored on the power play for St. Louis. The Blues and Sharks will play Saturday night at 7:00. You can hear that game on KSMO at 6:30.

The Missouri Basketball Tigers will play South Carolina Saturday afternoon at 12:30 and you can hear the game on KSMO Radio. The Tigers are 13-5 overall and 6-5 in the SEC.
