The Salem Lady Tigers were outscored in each of the first three quarters Thursday night in their semifinal match-up against the Mansfield Lady Lions at the Norwood Tournament, but a three-pointer from Maddy Woolf with three seconds left capped off a 19-9 fourth quarter effort to complete the comeback and send Salem into the championship with a 64-63 win. The Lady Tigers will face Willow Springs tonight at 8:30 in Norwood for the championship. Taylor Norris finished with 18 points while Maddy Woolf had 13 points.

The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers will be at St. James tonight. It will be a three game night starting with the 9th grade game at 5:00, the JV game at 6:00 with the varsity game to follow. That varsity game can be heard on KSMO Radio and online at ksmoradio.com at about 7:30. Salem enters the game with a 1-4 record.

The Healthy Dent County Fitness Center will once again hold line dancing classes this January on Thursday nights from 6:30 to 7:30. Everyone is invited to attend! The cost is $5.00 per person, per class payable at the door. Rosalie Wright will be the instructor.

The Missouri Basketball Tigers will host Oral Roberts tonight at 6:30. That game will not be broadcast on KSMO due to the Salem Tigers game in St. James. Missouri is 5-3 on the year.

The St. Louis Blues will be back in action tonight when they will be in Winnipeg to face the Jets starting after Salem Tiger Basketball on KSMO with a delayed start. That game will begin at about 9:00 on KSMO. On Sunday, the Blues will host the Vancouver Canucks starting at 1:30 on KSMO Radio.
