Bronson Crocker went seven innings giving up three hits and a run while Kaiden Dubois had a two-run double and sacrifice fly to drive in three runs as the Salem Tigers beat Cabool Thursday, 6-1. Crocker set down the last 15 Bulldogs he faced. Kash Howard drove in the game winning run with a two-out single in the 4th inning. Salem broke their four-game losing streak and are 3-7 on the year and 1-1 in the SCA Conference. Salem will be at Willow Springs Monday at 4:30.

The Salem Lady Softball Tigers lost to the Willow Springs Lady Bears Thursday, 15-1 to fall to 1-4 on the year and 1-1 in the SCA Conference. The Lady Tigers will be at Thayer Monday afternoon at 4:30.

The Salem Lady Tigers game against Licking on Tuesday has been moved to Salem and will start at 5:00. KSMO Radio will air and KSMO Media will stream that game.

Kasperi Kapanen scored the game-winning goal in overtime as the St. Louis Blues beat the New York Rangers Thursday, 3-2. Tyler Pitlick and Alexey Toropchenko scored for the Blues who will be in Minnesota on Saturday evening in a time change from the original schedule. That game will NOT be carried on KSMO due to Cardinal baseball.

The St. Louis Cardinals play Milwaukee tonight at 6:15, Saturday at 5:15 and Sunday afternoon at 12:15 with all the game son KSMO Radio.

The Kansas City Royals fall to 1-6 on the year after losing to Toronto Thursday, 6-3. They start a three-game series in San Francisco today.
