The Salem Baseball Tigers game with Thayer Thursday was postponed due to the rain and has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 24th at 3:00 at Thayer. Salem will host Mountain View-Liberty Monday at 4:30 at the SHS Field.

The Salem Tigers Track Teams are scheduled to participate in the St. James Invitational today at 3:00.

The City of Salem Youth Baseball-Softball and T-Ball signups are going on right now at the Salem Community Center@The Armory. These leagues are open to all children 14 years of age and under. Registration will be held through April 12th for $25 per child. The league will start the last week of May and wrap up before July 4th. The St. Louis Cardinals home opener will be held this afternoon at Busch Stadium against the San Diego Padres starting with the pre-game show at 1:40 on KSMO.

The Detroit Tigers snuck by the Kansas City Royals yesterday in their home opener, 5-4 to send Kansas City to their fourth straight loss. The Royals be off today and play Saturday and Sunday in Detroit.

Alexander Steen scored two goals and the St. Louis Blues scored four goals on their first five shots en route to a 7-3 win over Philadelphia Thursday. The Blues will finish up their regular season Saturday when they host the Vancouver Canucks. The game will start on ksmoradio.com due to Cards baseball at 2:30, and will be joined in progress on KSMO Radio right after the Cards game is completed.
