The Salem Tiger Tennis match against Mountain Grove yesterday was postponed and rescheduled for May 5th. Salem will host Houston this afternoon at 4:00 at the Salem City Park, weather permitting.

The Salem Baseball Tigers are scheduled to be at Houston this afternoon at 4:30. Salem is 6-6 on the year and they are 2-1 in the SCA Conference. In Salem on Saturday, a Three-Way Baseball Tournament is scheduled to be played featuring Salem taking on Plato at 10:00 followed by Mountain Grove at 3:00. If played, the Houston game will be on KSMO and ksmoradio.com. The Saturday games will not be aired on KSMO.

The Salem Middle School Track team will participate in the St. James JH Invitational today at 3:30 in St. James.

Paul Goldschmidt had three hits and three RBI and Tommy Edman had two hits and two RBI as the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Arizona Diamondbacks, 8-3. The Cards play Arizona this evening on KSMO starting at 6:20, then again Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 12:20.

Rookie Kyle Isbel hit a two-run single in Kansas City’s three-run 10th inning, and the Royals beat the Chicago White Sox 5-2 on Thursday. The Royals will host the New York Yankees today, Saturday and Sunday.

The St. Louis Blues will face the Vegas Golden Knights tonight in the final regular season game. The Blues trail Minnesota by two points for 2nd place in the NHL Central Division. Both teams play their last game tonight. The game tonight will NOT be heard on KSMO unless the St. Louis Cardinal baseball game would be postponed.
