The Salem Tennis team won the SCA championship tournament on Wednesday. Salem took 1st place with 12 points followed by Mountain Grove and Willow Springs who each had 9 points. All SCA Conference honors went to Jacob Stacy, Richard Parks, Sam Swindell and Jacob Rusk. Jacob Stacy won the individual championship. Congratulations Tigers!!!

The Salem Tiger Tennis Team will be at Houston this afternoon starting at 4:00. The Tigers will be in the Osage Tournament on Saturday

The Salem Baseball Tigers will play in the Russellville Tournament this weekend where the Tigers will play Bloomfield and Osage in their division before playing a third game Saturday night against the other division. Salem enters the tournament with a 6-8 record.

The Salem Middle School Track Teams will be at the St. James Junior High Invitational starting at 3:00 today.

Dexter Fowler’s 13th-inning RBI single gave the St. Louis Cardinals a 4-3 victory over the New York Mets. Tommy Pham had four hits and scored twice while Jose Martinez doubled home the tying run in the 10th inning with two outs. The Cardinals will be in Pittsburgh tonight, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon and you can hear the games on KSMO.

The Chicago White Sox pounded five homers through the first six innings off Royals right-hander Jakob Junis on Thursday, including two by Matt Davidson en route to a 6-3 win over the Kansas City Royals. The Royals and White Sox will continue their series through Sunday.
